The first annual Run to Fund will be held in October 2012. The race will consist of a 10K run and a family 5K run/walk. 100% of the funds raised by the event will go towards the latest trails project - a pedestrian tunnel underneath Hwy 34 near the dog park connecting the levee trails with the Ottumwa park trails.
The race is scheduled for 8:00 AM October 20th, 2012. Registration costs for the race are $25 per runner. Each runner will receive a race packet and T-Shirt. Race packet pickup will be held the day before the race, October 19th from 5:00 - 7:00 PM at the Beach Ottumwa. Registration closes Oct 14th, so be sure to have your registration in by then to be guaranteed a shirt by race day.
